Hi All

I've not posted in here before (I have a Mardave Meteor R/C car from the 80s if that helps) but I'm after some advice.

When my brother in-law emigrated he left all his early 2000s vintage, non-digital, Scalextric in our loft. It's a big layout so I've only set it up a few times but had a lot of fun every time.
Anyway, a mate of mine threw down a gauntlet and we have both bought battered 1970s cars on ebay for a few quid. They run well but the tyres are hard and cracked. I don't know a lot about Scalextric but I've been back on ebay and most of the tyres for sale seem to be for modern cars. Are tyres for older cars still available and is there anyway, other than just the measurements, to tell which tyres are for which cars?

Here's what I bought:

Thanks chaps. I called Pendleslotracing and they put me right straightaway. £1 per tyre.

This could be the start of a slippery slope...
