It's that time of year again when a couple of hundred of PH's hardier souls gather for a few drinks, a healthy helping of pie, a dose of glamour and possibly, a bit of driving thrown in for good measure

In the early days of 2003,2004 we used to manage at least a couple of "Yorkshire" tables, but not so much these days, no idea why as it is a cracking do with a chance to put a lot of faces to names. Put it this way, a fair few of us booked our hotel rooms last November in readiness for this year's shindig

When I had an interesting car... you can tell how early people get to the bar by how close their car is the the door ahem
