Had the good fortune to have met Murray on a couple of occasions and he's the same guy in 'real life' as he is on the telly... Top notch

I met him briefly once, at a book signing and we had a short chat about the changes to qualy, i think it was when we went to 3 sessions.

I got the change to speak to him, he was happy that he'd given me so many good memories when i was growing up and he was interested to hear about Formula student (which i was working in at the time) Top bloke

Murray was always the voice of F1 when I was growing up, and his enthusiasm is what probably kept me hooked on watching. He always comes across as humble, incredibly grateful to be involved in F1 and a thoroughly decent chap.

I really enjoyed the Red Button feature earlier, would recommend watching it if it's on again.

Also IIRC BE won the 1st Formula First championship so not to discredit Murray but Ben has actually achieved something on the track.

Just watching his 90th birthday interview in BBC iplayer, definately worth a watch if anyone has missed it.

Met him at a signing when his book came out, must be about 12-ish years ago. He is, well, words just cannot sum him up.
