Has anyone changed the carpets themselves, something I'm looking to do over the winter and want some tips?

Thanks Mike

Yes replaced my carpets last month on a t350' all I can say is that this is not a easy or quick tasks, going well it took me a hole weekend and 3 evenings , just remember the carpets do not fit anywhere, they have to be cut to size in every piece, lowerdash board out, seats door rubbers , heater vents , ,the back area is made differently by all the carpet people ,I started from the back working forward, this seemed to work , all I can say is I got quoted £300 on top of carpets . I would snap his hand off,

Who quoted you £300? Mine are faded and need doing. I'm in the Gloucestershire area

I too am in the Gloucestershire area, and would like to change the carpets at some point - so I'm interested to know, too!

Speak to Adrian at Central TVR in Stourbridge. It's about 600-700 quid all in for manufacture and fitting. He just did my T350.

I'm getting mine from Central Tvr spoken to Adrian he's very helpful but intend to fit myself (only to save money)as part of my winter upgrades which include diff change to 4.1, cleaning chassis and paining inner wheel arches. I may also get the seats recovered and add some speakers to the front door cards.

Just looked on the Central TVR site, not a bad price, I think:

http://www.centraltvr.com/product/tvr-carpets/

Does this include the boot carpet too, though, I wonder.. (Mine is slightly ripped due to the previous owner/s trying too hard to push the targa top into position)

ETA - Gotta be careful, I could spend upwards of £20k easily on getting my Tam like new....

Yes it should do - all mine were changed including boot and I also got Adrian to make up a couple of matching overmats for the front footwells. Everything was changed.

Not for the Tam as the boot is separate. Those Navy carpets look like mine before he put them in the car!
