Car turntables

Tried this in the houses bit but it died so I'm going to be naughty and put it in here:

Anyone got a car turntable installed in their driveway?

Interested to know your thoughts on these, approximate costs and recommendations.

Are they fantastic or a pain to keep having to switch on everytime you leave the house?

What happens when a visitor arrives and there's no room on the turntable?

I had one in a photo studio, made by easyturn.co.uk in Portsmouth. I'm not sure how much they cost now but I paid about £7k. I had a remote control made for it which helped no end. You need flat and level ground, and quite a lot of space.

I doubt a combined turntable/scissor lift is available.

I haven't got one (I can handle reversing), but a single car versions seems to be around £6k (manual).
