The metal piece across the top of the door. Mine has has a scratch which probably means re anodising. Took the trim off but underneath looks a bit bodgy. There is some and bracket holding. Thin piece of fibreglass across the door top. Think this can't be quite right. Anyone got any pics of this area they can share?????

Steve, mine had some scratches also, removal is quite easy, if you peel back the end rubbers, there are two counter sunk cap screws with nylocs behind. It is a bit of a wrist breaker, but not too bad to remove.

I got mine polished and looks ok, look at re-anodising but couldn't find a place that could give the same finish...
