Cayenne or not ?
Discussion
Hi all
Just looking into buying a cayenne. Key fact I am coming up against as it is cheaper interns of a monthly payment to but a brand new one rather than a second hand one because of the rv that orsche out on the cars. Now it is not guaranteed as a lease purchase, however when looking at list prices etc of ones that are 2years old they are only 4-5 k less than a new one.
Therefore is appears to be a no brained to buy a new one
Does anyone have a view experience of this?
Also has anyone tried to get out of an agreement after say 12-18m and residuals have been so low etc?
I would put in c 10% deposit and based on the numbers it appears that I would always be able to get out of the car and might even get some equity back?
Does anyone know discounts that the porsche dealerships/independents make on buying back the cars?
Drove the x5, ml and q7 and the cayenne is a totally different league.
All help, comments and insight welcome
Thanks

I have just bought a cayenne. I bought new as it made little difference to the payments. Why buy used when you can get new for roughly the same price. You just need to keep your head with the option list.
The rv will not change if you stick options in. The best buy would be one with no options, but who would want it (no sat nav etc) . But if would hand it back would not matter. I ended up spending around £58k. I pay less than what my old turbo was and I bought that second hand.

Na, dont think so. I did it once with a volvo years ago. It certainly doesn't count as a blot on your credit file as you're only exercising your rights under the terms and conditions you've signed up to.
Regarding settling early. Due to the way interest is applied, unless you've put a huge deposit down it normally takes 12-18 months before you in positive equity.
