Following on from "Skin up Mr Blunkett" thread (sounds like some dodgy 50's black and white B-movie about a blind guy and a gay monkey ).

GMTV Television presenter John Stapleton was today facing police action after officers seized a quantity of cannabis resin he held up to the camera during a live broadcast about David Blunkett's proposals to downgrade the drug.

An inspector and an officer arrived at GMTV's London studios and confiscated the drug after a complaint from a viewer.

Why did someone complain? I hate the self-rightous twats that fill this country. It's quite funny though

God no! If you're gonna use rolling baccy use Drum. Its much more palletable. Stay clear of Amber Leaf aswell. All this is from what I've heard from people down the pub of course

Some people have nothing to do - moaning about some tv programme, how sad. (As I sit here writing about someone with nothing to do, er...)

Agree. But I get very cheap normal Drum so I'll not complain. I think its better because its Dutch. Therefore designed for the job in hand.

Not a big ML fan. If I'm gonna use ciggies I like Richmond Superking Lights. Almost a quid cheaper and a longer fag too.

ARRRRGGGGG! don't mix, smoke it pure, most the arguments about bad health from Cannabis comes from smoking it as a joint. I used to have to teach the "eveils of the killer weed" in class and had to bite my tongue when you read the list of supposed health risks, they were all linked to the actual tobacoe it was mixed with. Much better in a pipe, bong or eaten.

Yea Matt. Why have the dutch got it so right? Last time I was there a really tidy business woman came into the Bulldog and asked for some spliff. Payed and left.
Left a lasting impression for some reason. Very civilised.

I am aware of the hard drug problems in the netherlands before someone chimes in, but I would believe we need to treat hard and soft drugs in different ways.

But whichever way you look at it the Dutch have a smaller hard drug problem than the UK as we have more recreational drug users than anyone else in Europe.
