There is a good chance, I'll be getting the beast's body repaired and re-painted.
The question is, shall I stay with its original colour or have a change?

I like that colour and it is fairly unusual so personally I would stick with it.

It's your car mate so do what you want to do with it.

I personally think its better to stay with the original colour unless you go all out and spray the whole car, engine bay, door shuts etc.

There was a nice looking 350i up for sale cheap not long back but when the bonnet was lifted and the engine bay was a completely different colour it put me right off.

I like the colour as it is. Very classy.

Cheers Guys... That's kinda my thought, a lot of people comment on the colour,
And yeah I think it's classy, especially when the interior is finished all in Tan.
Plus it's rough at the moment, when it's all fresh and new looking it will look different.
Just concerned, as once the decision is made that it!

Hi Mate..If you dont like the colour then change it as its yours to do with what you will..Personally i think it looks really smart with the interior change, It sets it off really well..Dont worry too much about the paint not being perfect as most wedges have stress cracks and shimmery or wobbly looking paint, Mine is really tired in some places..If the finish is a bit dull then there are loads of products to bring back the shine, I used colour magic and it worked really well.. G3 is a good product and there are similar ones out there that are just as good...Plus a paint job should be the last thing on the list.. smile ..Cheers...Ziga

Cheers Zig, yea I can get it quite Shiny, but the nose is quite bad, discoloured, and chips etc.
Really does need a paint job.
Prob gonna stick with the same colour,
Maybe a shade darker.
Well hopefully anyway!
