just a quick check - the on board computer in a rev counter...
is the computer part in the rev counter itself or is it just a display?
reason for asking is my computer is in litres kms and want a mph/gallons one

thats what i thought - may have a cheap one lined up though - didnt want to waste the dosh on getting the wrong bit though!

Make sure you thoroughly check which part number you need - there are a bunch of different tachos for manual, tip, metric, imperial etc.
