Good f*****g riddance. This is one aspect of US-style living that I detest - rampant advocacy. This is the lowest form of shite-peddling by a once respected profession and merely panders to the scrotae like so many other free handouts. Another one of these scandalous outfits goes by the name of 'Justice' - I hear it advertised from time to time on the radio: it offers you a £250 bung IF your claim is taken on, right from the off. And guess who tells you to "get Justice on you side?" The King of Maggotry himself, 'Degsy' aka Derek Hatton (remember, totally bent Trotskyite from Liverpool Council who cruised the streets of Toxteth in a Roller?)
Nothing will come of nothing, quoth the bard and how right he was. Like that space port in Star Wars, this country is fast becoming too, a hive of scum and villainy - but sometimes in pinstripes. B******s!

Not necessarily - some more lawyers will be being paid to sort out the legal mess. They win either way.

Hmm... this lot have been blamed for the rise in insurance premiums... wonder what the excuse will be now? (given they'll probably not drop! )

If the pool has 10 sharks in it, taking 1 shark out of the pool doesn't make it any safer! Think about it..

Surely it depends on WHY they've come out the pool? If there's no food left IN the pool, what does it matter since they'll all die anyway?!?!?

If the remaining 9 are small reef sharks and the one gone was a great white??? but understand where you're coming from......

Feel a joke coming on, why won't sharks eat lawyers???

professional ethics - or they just don't taste nice

Basically, their share price collaped after some shitty publicity and a campaign against them by the Sun.

They ran out of money as custom nose-dived. They may have ben first to market, but those who came in later and provided a better service (and attracted less adverse publicity) have won out.

This pool will never run out of food until thyere is root & branch reform of the English (& Welsh) judiciary. So long as we'resigned up to th eECHR I don't see that happening.

As an aside, did anyone hear about the recent appeals in Scotland under the ECHR.

One bloke had been put away for 15 years for killing some people. Appealed under ECHR and the judge increased his sentence to 30 years !!!

Other bloke similar story - originally sentenced to 20 years, sentence increased to 30 years.

Obviously that Judge needed a haemorriods cushion on his chair

Hmm... see you point. Come to think of it, I've seen an advert for another one of these firms recently... "PI" rings a bell... (dong)
