ANOTHER new joiner, from the S forum

Having sold my S3C (rather proudly to Rob Ingleby) and scoured the south of England for a tidy early Chimaera I’m now the proud owner of a rather tidy metallic grey 1994 400 (parked opposite the silver Ferrari at VW last Sunday). If only I’d known before I bought mine that blue ones are 10% more powerful …

Have noticed a SLIGHT!! increase in performance over the V6 S, although haven’t had the chance to drive it all week, and it’s off to Steve Howard (Insane Racing) tomorrow for wishbone refurb/replace and new bushes/balljoints etc. Still, might give me the chance to read the Bible from cover to cover, and put together my winter list of things to do and buy … and of course search the archives on here for information. Seems the POR15 will be making an appearance, and the bonnet heatshield and boot carpet will need some refixing.

Good to see a few previous S owners on here; look forward to meeting more of you at PH/TVRCC events.

Must get ‘round to updating my profile too, should the sun come out.

Just paid a deposit on an early Chim as well, px or selling my S3 privatly, depends if someone is quick...they'll get a bargain.

Must be something to do with the time of year, two Mikes from S's to Chims!
