Chaps, sorry for asking a relatively dull question, but thinking of getting one for my wife. Any thoughts/opinions/experiences/tips? I think they look quite nice but have read mixed reviews about handling, ride and motors. All abuse gratefully received thumbup

I had a 1.6THP for about 2 and half years and it was completely faultless, no squeaks, rattles, or any mechanical issues at all. It drove well and was as nice inside or nicer than anything in the same class. The only reason I sold was being tempted into a fiesta st.

There are known engine issues with the 1.6 THP even though I didn't experience any, the diesels tend to be reliable.
