Good GRP repair garage in Portsmouth/Chichester area ?

Hello,

Bit fed up at present. I got rear ended in the Westfield on the way home from work on Thursday. The structure seems straight but the drivers side rear arch and body around the filler are trashed. It's still roughly the right shape but split & the gel coat totalled. Can anyone recommend garages that do GRP repair in the Portsmouth/Chichester area as I need to get repair quotes ?

The easiest solution is to replace the whole rear body tub/arches but given the age/condition/mileage of the car I'm worried we are getting into the insurance write off area. I am sure you all appreciate this is not an option with something I built and have maintained for the last 21 years.

In case the previous poster's PM hasn't directed you to an appropriate body shop already, I do insurance accident repairs on both GRP and classic vehicles. Have had a Quantum Xtreme, 3 x Vauxhall VX 220s (i x clam off repair), two TVR Griffith 500s and a 290S here over the last few months, and a Jaguar MkV Tourer. in addition to a bare metal build on an XK150 roadster.

I am very conscious of an owners desire to keep their car, and this process can often be negotiated carefully with the insurance company concerned.

I am also used to collecting and delivering at a distance!
