A6 4.2 Q in for service

after the very poor 42000 miles service at peterborough audi in my opinion i now need a 50000m service , so off to boston audi lets hope they do a better job ,i wonder if a smaller dealer will give a better service.they have lent me a new a6 3.0 tdi quattro review to follow .what experience,s have other owners had with audi servicing?
Very disappointed with Audi main dealer servicing and customer service. We get better service from the local Seat dealer for a car worth half what the Audi cost new.
Had hoped the fact that another dealership had taken over the local franchise would help but obviously not.
Last time the car was serviced, him indoors got home to find the brake lights were permanently on because they'd managed to bend one of the pins when fitting a new brake light switch. We were also told that we must have swapped tyres round as the tread on the spare was much lower than on the other tyres - DOH, perhaps that's because it is a space saver (which has never been used). And we're still waiting several months later for a part they were supposed to order in to fix an irritating squeak on the clutch pedal. Problem seems to have resolved itself, and him indoors is loathe to let them loose on the car unnecessarily.

a6 is back from boston audi and i have to say i am very pleased,all jobs were done including a full valet they also made a great job of fitting reverse sensor kit so perhaps its official smaller dealers give the best service!!!!!also the loan car was great first time i have ever driven the 3litre diesel quattro and it was almost a fast as my 4.2 L v8 !!!!! not aure about new styling though , congrats to boston audi.
