Just wondering wot sort of time people are planning on getting there?
We were thinking a bit early, around 8-8.30.
Is everyone else going down at 9-9.30 ish?

Ben. Absolutely no point in getitng there for 8am.

People should aim to get there for about 9am. In practice with the distances involved, people generally arrive between 8.40 and 9.15.

Ben,

***CRACKING ROUTE ALERT***

If you wanted to kill a bit of time, why not take the A606 out of Nottingham, and join the B6047 at Melton Mowbray. Follow it to Market Harboro' then take the A4304 to Husbands Bosworth. Turn right on to the A5199, Brunters is about ten minutes from the 4304/5199 junction.

A sample of Notts and Leicestershire's finest A and B roads.

The B6047 is a cracker.

Badapple and I are leaving Cardiff at 7. I will have to excercise a lot of self restraint with my right foot otherwise we will be there by about 8!

M4, M50, M5, M42, M6

I've done a few longish trips in the car and its very difficult. If you dont keep constantly checking your speed you look down and find your doing well over a ton and it feels like your just cruising along at 60.

I think keeping the speed down on the way home will be even more difficult though

what time are you likely to be hitting the M5? If you could cope with driving slowly, I could follow you (from a distance maybe)...

ben,

if you get this in time, and you are still stranded, email or post us your mobile No. Me and Rob will be leaving J31 at 6.30, passing nottinhgham at about 6.50. If there's any services near you that you can leave the car, we can pick you up, if you don't mind cramming in the back of the 996. We don't mind stopping at services but can't do a massive detour.

Let us know.

Rob, thank you so so much for the kind gesture but I managed to get the last train back to Leeds in order to get my own car for the week!
I will be there around 9am, but if it is still possible, could I please cram into the back in order to get into Brunters when we all get there as my car isnt part of the vmax event (not suprising being a micra!)
See you all in the morning!
Ben
