I'm having mine wrapped gloss black this weekend. Has anyone removed them before? Carbon front grille and carbon fibre side strakes also going on at same time.

From what I can tell by reading manual / forums they appear to just pop off....

Looking at the chrome trims in the parts manual, there appear to be a load of M5 blind rivnuts, and M5 bolts....

I'd take a guess that they're screwed on from inside.....I'm interested to find out so if you do suss it out, post it upsmile

Thanks guys. Rivets would be a pain. Had the door card off and can't see anything in behind them. A-pillar might be a different story however. I'll re-check manual when I get home.

Burnout: thanks for link. I'll maybe give him a shout. Apparently most people keep the surround in place however I want to take them off so that they can be wrapped the same time the car is away.

Cost from local place in Edinburgh is £100 for both sides, however mine is a roadster so little cheaper.
