Hi chaps, anyone recommend a decent restaurant within a reasonable taxi ride of tower bridge. Looking for something you have to wear a suit to and price not a problem, also needs to be open on a Saturday. Going in November so looking to book ASAP.

Thank, Pete

Not sure about suit, but you won't need a taxi, Pont de la Tour?

Smith's in Wapping is great (seafood). They have tables over looking Tower Bridge, so nice and close!

Avoiding the obvious 'Pont',

Constancia for steak http://www.constancia.co.uk/index.php

or The Lobster Pot http://www.lobsterpotrestaurant.co.uk/index.php

Have looked at the pont and that could be it. Galvin also looks nice too. Any more?

That looks great too. Missus road and I love seafood. Some nice sounding things on the menu! Could be a winner....

I haven't been for a few years, but Club Gascon was always nice. Out of fashion now so cheap (£60 tasting menu):

I've been to HKK 3 times, it's a very nice place to take someone you like, but not a good business place. http://hkklondon.com/ Full menu takes 2.5 hours to enjoy.

Both an easy cab ride.
