childhood hero Michael Kinght has checked into the Betty Ford clinic for alcohol addiction. He turns 50 net week, he said his social drinking had risen to uncomfortable levels.

I think I would have turned to the booze if I was that bad at singing.

He played in Germany to a crowd of 500,000. Whatever were they thinking?

Well for all we know, he could have been blind drunk through the whole of Knight Rider... I mean KITT did all the hard work - he just ponced around with his mullet, big hair, big sunnies and cheap leather jacket...

Even the germans are not that daft, no venue in D big enough.... 50000 might have been stupid enough to pay for his squealing......

Well it wasnt really a venue, it was on top of the Berlin Wall in 1989, 500,000 people gathered to see him singing that awful freedom song thing.

Story in the paper last week:

Local man ..... crashed into a parked car late on Thursday evening. He fled the scene before police arrived but returned an hour later. When asked if he'd been drinking he said not before he was driving but after the crash he ran home and drank an eight pack of Stella to calm down.

The best review being:::::
Absolute pile of garbage, July 2, 2002
Reviewer: A music fan from As far from David as possible
The only reason I gave it one star, out of five, is that the field won't allow a '0' entry. David Hasselhoff is the cheesiest "Musical Artist" I have ever seen! Not since William Shatner has anyone disgraced the recording industry as notably. This stuff is absolute drivel from beginning to end and I can't believe anyone could even listen to it, never mind enjoy it. To say that he has "Twice the ruggedness of mortal man" is demented and that person should be monitored and/or sedated and kept from society. Yeesh!
ENUFF????

Those reviews are hilarious. I wonder if the minority that appear to be genuine rather than satirical are actually genuine, or just extremely dead-pan?
