As far as I can remember... facelifted ones have horizontal bar and no mesh on front grill aka cerbera. Door opens with wing mirror button instead of rear of door, the rear lights are different (4 circular reflectors behind the lens)and the strip on the rear bumper is body coloured. Also the boot hinges are hidden- can't remember if they are on earlier ones? Inside the black plastic buttons on the dash were changed for aluminium and the layout of them moved about a bit. Don't know about any mechanical differences though and being TVR the above probably didn't happen at the same time!

Then on the later/last ones the headlights were faired in and you could only get a 450 engine.

The bonnet is completely different, it no longer has the aluminium brace inside but an integral moulded in version, the vents are a lot wider and it has a spoiler that flips up on the edge in front of the screen. The gaps in the body for the front indicator smaller on the later model. The later model has a longer bootlid that overhangs the rear panel. The number plate was recessed and the corresponding lights moved to above the plate.
Mechanically the later cars benefited from an uprated chassis, brakes and geometry from the 5 litre as well as subtle differences like relocated expansion tank etc.

Hope this helps
