Range Rover Gearbox Remap - German Translation Needed
Discussion
Hello,
I've just bought a remapped gearbox control unit from this company:
Ecotuning
I'm struggling with automated translations of the fitting instructions. Basically there is one extra wire that needs splicing into the existing loom. Here is the extract from the guys website:

Basically there is one additional wire did needs splicing into the existing loom. Here is the extract from the guys website: When installing the modified transmission control unit in a Range Rover TD6, BMW E39, 530D, 525D, E46 330D with an M57 engine and DDE4.0 engine control unit (with 5 black plugs) must have a wire comes out of the transmission control unit, a sheathed cable which flows into the engine control unit and from two cores in the colors yellow, black, and one screen (see pictures, black middle 52 pin connector. Yellow wire goes to pin 31, black on pin 6) soldered will. The wire that comes out of the transmission control unit can be connected to the yellow or the black wire. Both are engine speed. During installation of the modified transmission control unit in a E46 320d, 330d from about 04.2003 with a DDE5.0 engine control unit (a black 96 pin connector) is the engine speed to pin 87 (yellow / as single core) to find. During installation of the modified transmission control unit in an E46 330i with GM A5S390G gear, and MS43 engine control unit, the engine speed is on to find X60003 connector at pin 8 (yellow single shot). The electronics box is located in the engine compartment. At a E39 on the passenger side under the cabin filter. In E46 is electronics box on the driver's side, directly in front of the windshield. Refer to pictures. , the connector from the transmission control unit are blue, are the motor / is black. In order to send a signal, it can be done in two ways: subtract the respective connector to break and the lead required auszupinnen to the wire that comes from the transmission control unit to solder directly. Alternative: the yellow or black wire with a carpet knife, carefully strip 2-3 mm on one side and tin, and the wire that comes from the transmission control unit to solder (see pictures). Then insulate with tape or heat shrink cover. (Only works if the wire was previously ausgepinnt or separately.)
Hope this helps

not really mate. I've tried automated ones. google, babylon, microsoft etc. All produce various gibberish. Can you make head nor tale of the google translate one? I cant?
I've asked the vendor for clarification, but if we have any german speakers a humans eye could make all the difference.

I think the gist is that i need to solder to either yellow wire (pin 31) or black wire (pin 6):
black middle 52 pin connector. Yellow wire goes to pin 31, black on pin 6) to be soldered.
The wire from the transmission control unit comes out, can be connected to the yellow or the black wire. Both are engine speed
