I must have missed the X-Factor "search for a footballer" series that he won.

Seriously though, he's a Championship player. Surely we have better forwards to choose from? Even Darren Bent at least knows which direction to face.

Being the fittest is good, but I think scoring goals is you know, more important.....

You think that we should pick player's based on their sexual attractiveness confused

He almost singlehandedly kept it at 1-0 for ages.

Amazing effort.

Agree with the goal scoring thing, but he gives a lot to England at the moment.

Defensively, gets involved more than some other attacking players.

Keeps the ball well, giving others chance to move up the pitch.

Then gets into good positions from which to miss chances wink

Can't think of anyone I'd pick ahead of him at the moment on the left hand side.

I affectionately refer to him as Danny Wellst. He's not that bad, young and still raw.

In competitive games he's score five times, once against Sweden, two against San Marino (the worst team in international football) and two against Moldova.

He does seem a bit rubbish, all a bit meh. I hope he has a long future at Man U hehe.

On the flip side I did see him a few times playing for the youngsters and he was generally the player that stood out and difficult to defend against.

Shouldn`t be allowed anywhere near Wembley stadium, let alone on the pitch.

Why are you posting on his thread ? You actually know something about football, this is not the thread for you.

Whereas it is wholly suitable for you, judging by the '68' in your username. I've seen headless chickens with more awareness of where they are than Welbeck.
