Slightly earlier than last year but anyone else going to be out spectating and cheering on Greensleeves?

I might head to the Newclose Rigg stage again on Fri evening as I've had enough of the wood yard,

Can't do Saturday either, but I may well get out Friday night.

Seeded entry list and some more info on the website now.

Picked all the paperwork up yesterday and sorted out my tyres today. Car in final fettling stage at Woodfield Garage (other garages are available) so should be all ready to go soon.

See y'awl in Dalby?

For the past five years I've promised I'll go to see something of the RAC and every year my part time degree studies got in the way. This year I have no such excuses. I may ease myself in gently with a trip to Croft as time is at a premium at the moment. Just texted SWMBO for permission as we're just back from three race meetings in Asutralia and I need to tread carefully as she's at saturation point with cars at the mo...

Will probably go to Croft too, if only to get every last penny out of my season ticket. If you see a muddy Caterham it'll be me. or a really really muddy Yeti....

Does anyone know what on earth is happening to the spectators info this year? Yes I see the rally guide, but what about prices, stage access etc ?? It all seems very late this year.

I've got permission to go to Croft. Boom! Sadly the Exige is broken still so it'll be a muddy Polo or a muddy 306.

Anybody fancy meeting up for a natter over a bacon butty?

I thought I'd seen the prices up somewhere as I can specifically remember everything saying EXCEPT CROFT as they're charging to get in independently to the rally. I think Croft is a tenner apiece. I know we can get our service barge and management car in but our guests can't get in with their guest or VIP badges.

This time next week we'll be all packed!

The spectator maps and prices are up now.

I might be in the minority here but Croft sounds a bit dull from a spectator point of view compared to a forest stage? Aren't you going to be a long way from the cars?

My plan is Duncombe for most of both runs, then hot foot up some tasty roads to Hamsterley. Then depending on how energetic I'm feeling I might head to Pundershaw for the 2nd run in the dark.

Duncombe Park then (possibly) Croft for me. I've missed the RAC for the last 2 years for all sorts of boring reasons but i'm not missing this one.

Oh, a certain Mr Bannister has stuck a late entry in too wink

yes Its rubbish, your futher away from the action, but with none of the benefits of circuit racing I.E. more than one car in view at once.

And also, as any veteran of Croft spectating will confirm - it will be absolutely bd freezing, guaranteed.

Much more fun in the woods at Duncombe/Dalby etc.

ETA and you get nice and close - vid from last year - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GT8wFGP2Yd4
