I volunteered last year and gave passenger rides for charity but am busy this year annoyingly.

Would recommend going and even offering passenger rides if you are around.....

Hi Track junkies,

I have spoke to the organiser, basically the TD is free and here are the details.

"Hello Martin and thanks for being in touch. We make money for the charity by giving passenger rides, so we need 'exciting but very safe' which is a lot to ask for. We consider hundreds of drivers to pick about 50 each year. We know what it costs to run a car this hard so we make no charge to drivers at all but we do expect people to show the dedication to stick at it all day - and that's hard work.

Early start, 30 mins on track then 60 mins break. You queue up to pick up a passenger then do 5 laps and back in for another. I know one guy with an EVO used 50 gallons of fuel last year!"

There are going to be some quick cars there so I think it needs some big power boys there.

If the weather's friendly then I am only an hour away and will come to meet any fellow nobs who may be there. Not up to such a high profile track day as have only had mine for 3 weeks and I managed to leave Combe on the chicane on my only track day in my old Elise
