Can anybody come up with any decent suggestions as I'm going round in circles.
I'm looking at having a full retrim and brand new carpets but I can't come up
with a food colour scheme etc.

My car is a dark metallic blue and the interior is currently magnolia with navy
carpets. I do like the idea of the lighter colour leather.

However I do like this interior
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=120...

Not sure it will be too dark though.
I like the idea of the diamond quilting. If I go for magnolia should I go for
leather and perforated leather or leather and alcantara. What about going
lighter than magnolia? White? Ivory etc. would alcantara look ok in the light
colour? What about blue stitching? Or should I be brave and go for black leather
and alcantara?

Show me pictures of your interior as a bit of inspiration if you can. My head is
spinning!

IMO This is one of the finest interiors I've seen on any TVR. I am very very tempted to blantently copy this on a retrim for my Cerb next year!

Well Simon, interiors must be the most subjective-taste subject around and I find it difficult not to insult someone

BUT

I don’t like the stitched diamond – Too much like a tart’s bedroom.
When I was first looking for a Cerb I wanted Portland Grey interior but settled for Magnolia. I now feel it’s a bit too ‘Banana’-ey.

optimax sniffer has the coolest interior|…..
…. IMHO so, obviously, I like it dark.

Loved the carpet in your suggestion – It looks like 164 Persian cat pelts stitched together yikes
There is a level of opulence that contra-stitching provides that is unequalled.

Sooooooooo…..

Carpets as shown, Portland Grey leather with navy blue contra-stitch, door cards in horizontal panels (with arm rests containing change pockets), central column with perforated, standard, panels but with multi-density foam backing (or horse-hair if poss), alloy or (carbon-fibre) gearlever glove ring, carbon-fibre for all normal alloy/wood panels.

Bet you wish you hadn’t asked now getmecoat

The black looks good but I wonder if it claustrophobic a bit? Personally I prefer a lighter interior - in most cars actually.

Any pictures of two tone grey in an early car?

Thats a very similar colour scheme to my old Tuscan. It does look good and in pictures it looked great but in real life I thought it looked a bit dirty. No matter how much I cleaned it.

It does take a fair bit of keeping clean, and mine is far from clean. Hoping for a retrim before long so don't spend a lot of time keeping it tip top - Tesco Value baby wipes work well though!
I think it's livable if it's not a daily driver.

The recommendations are great. Yeah I think I prefer the lighter colours maybe with contrasting stitching. Dies anybody know how many hides it takes to completely retrim a Cerbera?

Mines a 97 cerb & has two tone grey.
There was a yellow cerb at garners with Jet Black shiny leather interior, it was a really nice contrast.

My current Cerb has all black with yellow stitching, it's not claustrophobic as such but some of those outlandish curves are somewhat lost by the darker materials. I've said it many a time, Mark's interior is just outstanding on the pictures, but Portland is a tricky colour to keep looking nice as someone has already mentioned. Magnolia looks beautiful on photos but a bit too yellow in real life.

Thanks smile It does look pretty damn good in the flesh too, but yes keeping clean is a b'stard.
I remember looking at a black interior on a Cerb in Fernhurst many years ago - you are right it does loose some of the curviness.

Not much help in terms of colour choice but here's mine as it left the factory. Alcantara headlining and door panels which I like. The exterior colour is a light metallic green. I think that shade of grey is looking a little dated now.

I love the quilted look and the orangy-brown colours. One of the nicest standard interiors I've seen I think is Gazzab's, a dark cherry paint with a light interior (I might be completely wrong there though)
I always wanted a silver car with a blood red interior but the missus thinks I'm bonkers.
