Judgement Day & other adventure races 2014

Hi

I have been looking to do a Tough-Mudder style race for a while and have the Men’s Health race around Battersea park booked up for next month. I can’t wait and although I haven’t even done it yet, I am currently looking to do something a bit longer and a bit better next year.

I was looking at the Judgment day race in Salisbury Plain, sounds really good but doesn’t really let you on to what is involved which is a bit different. I was wondering if anyone else did it this year or will be doing it in 2014 and also what other races are you all doing next year??

I did the Yorkshire TM last month, all booked up to do another TM next year.

Wife and I are tempted on the Rat Race Dirty Weekend too.

Tough Mudder and similar are NOT Adventure Races. Adventure Racing is multi-discipline (run, cycle, kayak, swim etc), usually multi-day too, like The Hebridian Challenge for example.

Tough Mudder etc are obstacle course races. That's not to say they are easy or not a challenge, but they aren't adventure races.

I found this last night, looks like a good website and it had a blog on the Dirty Weekend, if it wasn't for a friends 30th that weekend it would be my first choice.
