Snapped a couple of pics on my phone.
Looked like a Bentley Conti GT in the shadows, but in daylight a very imposing car with it's own distinct look.

I really don't like the look of the Wraith.....it may be one of those vehicles that just doesn't photogragh well.

There was a blue one of these at Southampton Boat Show a few weeks back. It was being used as the Princess car but I think it was the Royce press car as I've seen photos of a car in the same colours. Beautiful, really nice. Much better than the Phantom that was parked next to it.

Nice looking car.

O/T question though - why blank out the number plates?

Not trolling here, but I've often wondered this. I can "sort" of understand it of your own car (I've done it myself without knowing why), but of someone else's car I just don't get. It's on display when he's driving down the road & I can't imagine someone cloning the plate off a Wraith onto another one to avoid congestion charge / speeding tickets / petrol station drive-offs etc.

Fair question - just a perception of politeness I guess, a respect to a degree of another's privacy which took me about 30secs.

If I saw a nice car with the owner nearby, I would ask if they minded me taking a picture. Seeing as the owner was not there to ask, I take away the individual nature of it. Maybe its a generation thing.

Fair question, probably not a very good answer hehe

I think losing the chrome around the rear lights would make it look a lot better.

Agreed - the front looks more "sorted" than the back. I think these "uber" coupes do have a problem with their fat arses & what to do with them.

For some reason, the back view (particularly in the night shot) makes me think of a Jaguar.

Saying that, if I had one, I probably wouldn't give a st what anyone else thoughtlaugh

Great spot and a good answer.

It definitely looks like a Bentley, its that dog crouch rear I think. Prefer this to the Continental though..

It seems to me that Bentley and Rolls Royce have reversed roles. Bentley always seemed (to me at least) the more classy choice when they were one and the same. Now RR seems much much more classy than the (relatively speaking) everyday Bentley's.

Sure it could change again as they chase sales (short term gain) at the expense of brand value.

"Bentleys for driving in, Rolls for being driven in"

That seem as true today as it always has been.

Probably down to the fact they are two entirely seperate companies now BMW - Rolls and VAG - Bentley so where they could do the drivers Bentley and the chauffers rolls now they have to compete against each other.

Totally agree, the rear 3/4 is not a particularly flattering angle for this or the Bentley IMO.

Saw a couple in Knutsford yesterday as the dealer is nearby, looked good but as has been said a bit like a Conti GT, or a GTA5 take on a Conti GT, there was a pink roller being unloaded as well

Got to love Cheshire, Knutsford has McLaren, Rolls and Bentley dealers, Wilmslow has Porsche and Aston, never short of some posh metal I cant afford to gawp at.

Knutsford on a sunny Saturday is like being in the West End of London at times. Back in August there was a Gulf liveried GT40 parked up in the High Street. With the usual mix of European tax haven number plated 'basics' (Ferraris, Lambos etc) out and about.

Yes, think I saw that, was around for a while, saw it go past when was having a meal, well was in the Cross Keys having a pre-meal beer, I do quite like Knutsford, very characterful town.

Spotted a couple of them in Vegas a couple of weeks back - believe the MGM Grand have a couple in their fleet, one of which we saw.

Lovely looking things.
