Sean Edwards RIP: Pic Of The Week

Another sad week for motorsport; Sean Edwards remembered in suitable style

It was only appropriate to dedicate POTW to Sean Edwards this week. Following his death, the forums have been inundated with kind messages, Sean clearly a very popular guy with many people.

If you've not seen it yet, Harris's blog on racing with Sean is well worth a read. Again, it reveals him to be hugely likeable as well as the consummate professional at all times.

Our chosen pic comes from this year's Nurburgring 24 Hours, a race Sean won in the Black Falcon Mercedes SLS GT3. To have won in such horrendous conditions shows the talent and speed Sean and his team mates possessed.

Hopefully this is a fitting tribute to a talented man. RIP Sean.

Before the start of yesterdays Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta yesterday the car that Sean usually drove the #30 MOMO Porsche that had been withdrawn from the entry list slowly toured the circuit with his co-driver at the wheel.



A nice touch.
