Hi everyone, just thought I'd give you guys a heads up on the possible sale of my 350SE, this one being No.8.

It's with some reluctance, I'm probably going to advertise it on a well known auction site, as it has been sitting in my garage for last 7 years.

I've actually owned the car for 8 years, but stopped using it, when I realised the front brakes were horribly inadequate (Ford solid disc set up), vowing to upgrade them before putting it back on the road - as I say, 7 years has flown by, I've got
2 more children, gained a dog and got in to motorbikes, hence the car has been over looked.

I'm only the 3rd owner, the original owner had it 2 years and the guy I bought it from had it 13 years. It's covered 58,000 miles, I've got all of the MOT's up until the point it came off the road and a folder full of receipts/service history.

During my first year of ownership, the car had new oil & filter, spark plugs, water pump, new battery, the rubber type rocker cover gaskets and I stripped the chassis out riggers & repainted using hamerite and wax oiled.

Being a 350SE, it has the correct NCK HS engine, alloys unique to the model, leather interior, adjustable suspension and a full stainless steel exhaust system.

The car starts every time, when I need to get it out of the garage, but I've noticed the indicators have stop working and the head lights don't pop up - probably due to lack of use?

The car now requires a light restoration, in terms of sorting the indicators/head lights, upgrading the brakes and re-carpeting - as when I removed the sills to get at the chassis the carpets just fell apart.

I know I've waffled on a bit, but this is in an attempt to answer any questions that may arise!

I'd really like to see the car go to someone, who can devote the time to it and just enjoy it - if anyone is interested out there, please get in touch or wait for the up coming listing?

Jerry

Nice looking 350 Jerry.

You should not have trouble finding a buyer.

I like those alloys.

These commemorative edition Wedges are desirable cars and you should sell it no trouble. Especially one that's been well looked after with good history. Nice car.

Thank you everyone, for your comments and widespread interest.

Most, obviously want to know what I'd accept for the car?

I'm not sure what the protocol is for this is on a forum site, rather than a
specific ad site, all I can say is, any interested parties are more than welcome to come and view the car.

Hi everyone.

Pulled the car out of the garage today and cleaned it(even got the polish out), as people were asking for up to date photos. Having got the car ready for the new photos, I stood back admiring the result, when it dawned on me, I'm probably making a big mistake by even considering letting the car go!

The thing that's been going through my mind, is where an earth would I find another like this with low owner numbers and mileage?

So thanks for the comments and replies, and, if I ever have another funny moment, I'll let guys know first.

Jerry
