Getting to and from The Hinds Head.

Hi all,

My wife, a couple of friends and I, are having dinner at The Hinds Head in Bray, in a couple of weeks time. Apart from hearing from PH'ers about the experience, (always welcome), I was looking to get some advice regarding getting to and from the restaurant by train and taxi from people who've been. Is this doable?

Alternatively, one of us could drive and leave a car, then return in the morning when fit to drive... Can anyone recommend a secure place to leave a car overnight?

Train to Maidenhead then a 10 min taxi ride.. Or train to Windsor riverside and 15 minute taxi ride.. There is a bit of parking around on the street or in a car park, but I have read in the local rag about cars being broken into fairly often. It depends on what sort of car it is and whether you want to leave your laptop/satnav on display!
