I can understand that working. A tin of Heinz Spaghetti Bolognese on toast is awesome.

Strong cheddar topped with freshly chopped garlic and toasted (as much garlic as you can handle)

John west sardines, mashed and than grilled on Hovis multi seeded wholemeal bread.

Finish with a drizzle of garlic olive oil, yum!

Butter first always, then one of the following:

Bovril
Marmalade (with bits)
Strawberry jam

Leave the toast slightly warm so the butter is a little bit melty when you put the marmite on.

Wash down with a nice hot cup of tea.
