Saab 95 aero hot 2000 plate -advice

Hi

I have a question if someone could help. After 128000 miles, my Saabs head gasket has gone. I am now trying to work out the best thing to do with it. Should I just scrap it or advertise it for someone to buy/ perhaps fix themselves, and if so, what sort of price range?

Other than the gasket, the rest of the car is great, even the garage told me it's a shame as it drives so well.

Any help/advice appreciated

Autotrader is showing running cars of a similar age and mileage to yours to be selling for well under £1000, and that's without a blown headgasket. It's unlikely you'll get too much more than scrap value for it as a "spares or repair" vehicle unfortunately.
