Hi, My wife informed me yesterday, that she had signed us up to Netflix.
Cool, Gives me an excuse to use the PS3 i bought a year ago and have never used.

So after an age of syncing my PS3 with out wifi and doing various software updates for both PS3 and Netflix and then joining the Playstation community (or whatever its called) I was finally able to sign into Netflix via my PS3.

I was very disappointed to find that i had a rather limited choice of PG (only) movies and tv series, all very old and..... well, s#*t!!

However, thinking i must me missing something, i logged into the account from my laptop today and there is a whole host of decent (all ratings) stuff to chose from....

What should i be doing on my PS3 to find all the good stuff??

Sounds like parental ratings or restrictions have been applied to the PS3 itself.

According to https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/det... the PS3 parental controls don't do anything with Netflix. Netflix does have its own parental settings though so it's worth checking those on the Netflix site.

Thanks chaps, managed to change it by playing around with the settings via the Netflix site.

Apologies for hijacking your thread, but I have just downloaded Hola, with the intentions of registering with Netfix, for using Netfix USA for the most latest film releases. To do this, do I first sign up, register with Netfix UK or with Netfix USA, thanks.

You can register on the UK one and then when you use Hola, your log in will also automatically work on the US version.
