Hi all, finally joined up to the mothership of forums here so thought I'd introduce myself and my car history. I'm 23 and live in Bristol, so if I spot any little stickers anywhere I'll shout at you...

Anyway.. 1st car at 17 was this which was actually a really nice little car until I ruined it a little bit..

Then a good friend of mine and I had the great idea of buying 2 jet skis, and I volunteered to buy a tow car... long story short that fell through and I was stuck with an R reg Vectra 130 SRi which was just vile in every way. Luckily the Corsa hadn't sold yet so I had that for a bit.

Then at 18 I chopped the Corsa in for a Rev 2 MR2 turbo... which was a bit of a change to say the least!:

It was amazing at the time, but knackered. It died still under warranty so luckily I got my beloved Corsa back again!

Then at 19 I bought a much better black T bar Rev 2 turbo, seen here alongside one that belonged to a very good friend of mine at the time:

Very sadlyy he was killed in a RTA so I sold mine a week later and... for want of a better phrase.. "ran away" to uni after acquiring this in a deal with the MR2:

1.5 LSi. Absolutely loved this little car. Gave it absolute hell and it would still return 50+ mpg on a run. Handled nicely as well with a simple coilover / alignment / good tyre setup. Highly recommended for a daily!

Then I bought a black Civic coupe standard.. it ended up like this. The hatch is much better to own than the coupe for any prospective buyers!

Then I sold that towards the end of uni, and had an itch that hadn't finished being scratched....

Rev 3 T Bar turbo. Tuned and ran very nicely, but the wheels were vile.

Sold that as the itch had finished itching... and borrowed this while I saved up a bit..

Save up and now I have this.

]

End!

Nice EP3 and the wheels look good on it, but the exhaust fit is terrible. If I'm not mistaken that is one of the cheap ebay M2 exhausts, it's sticking way too far out to the back. You might be able to fix this by adjusting the hangers.

When I had a custom exhaust made for my EP3 I made sure the fit was just so, and it turned out excellent.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Interesting car history there as well, quite a difference in driving the Mitsubishi I imagine hehe

I'm also in (or on the outskirts of) Bristol. I'll look out for you smile

I don't know what it is... but it is vile. It's all declared though so it'll do for the time being. I've just put it through the 75k service and put 4 new tyres on it so it's low on the priorities to be changed.

I'd really like a Fujitsubo RM01A on it. Nice and quiet and idle and a healthy song when you open it up a bit.

The Pajero was / is great fun to be honest. It's amazing how many puddles / floods / green lanes you can find if you are looking out for them! Plus having 4 seats and a useable boot, and high ground clearance was a nice relaxing change. It's an auto as well so very lazy motoring!
