Jota Mazda MX-5 GT Gets Green Light

Has anyone seen this news? The Mazda GT concept has been given the green light and will go on sale via Jota Racing. Check out the links below:

Is anyone excited for this? Admittedly the asking price is a bit high but this is probably an amazing car!

Still only the same price as a GT-86 and suspect this will be quicker with the benefit on being a convertible as well.

I'm surprised they liberated 50bhp from the engine with just those modifications.

That's an impressive bump in power, and it looks proper. TBH I think I'd save my money until the next MX-5's spec becomes clear - if it's manual, N/A, and as light as they're promising, it'll knock the current generation into a cocked hat.
