Giving up vegetarianism - what first meal?
Discussion
So I've been veggie for about 7 or 8 years, and its time to give it up - two main reasons - having spent time on a few local farms I'm not convinced the animals are suffering and indeed have a better quality of life than wild.. and the second and main reason is that I'm fed up of going places with the army reserve and discovering that yet again vegetarianism has not been considered and I'm left facing back of a fag packet food plans (typically I end of losing half a stone over two weeks).
Anyway, reasoning over.. what should that first meal back to meat land be? a nice crispy bacon sandwich? a chicken curry? a really nice rich chilli con carne? those are just a few of my first thoughts.. what would you pick?

You've got a lot of meat-eating to catch up on after all!

mm bacon double cheeseburger.. that may well be a contender. Twas my dirty takeaway (burger king) food of choice pre veggieness.
Just a nice, quick and cheap way back into meat.I'd be going for a single cheeseburger, BCO (bacon, cheese and onion) meal and either a snack wrap or 6 nuggets with sweet chili sauce.
Maybe an apple pie for after.
I didn't eat any meat or fish for three years. The first things I ate were, bizarely, a Cornish Pasty, a Scotch Egg and a Corned Beef Sandwich. Over the next three years I put on nearly four stone and have only just managed to get it back off. I regretted turning back to meat but at the time the yearnings for certain (pretty rubbish) foods was just too much. I still don't feel as good as I did during my meat free years and wish that I good have persevered.
Good old mince and tatties. M&S do a 5% fat mince, very tasty.
Or, a top notch corn fed chicken. Roasted on a bed of olive oil and onion rings, brush down with olive oli
and pop a sliced lemon in the cavity . Brill.
P/S Good to see that you do not expect others to dance around your choice of food intake, sadly, many others do.
