No heat on the XJR

Hiya

Got a 99 XJR 308 and when using the heater all you get is cold air, what's the most common fault? I was wondering if it needs a new pump. This stays cold when the engines running and doesn't vibrate at all. Any ideas appreciated

Yes there is an electric pump/valve in front of the passenger bulkhead

Does the engine come up to temp?
When I had a problem with my X300 it was the thermostat.

Yep engine comes up to temp, I'll try the wack tonight.

Nice to know some things don't change. On my '93 XJ40 the fix for this is to wack the stepper motor at the bottom of the heater box as it jams & doesn't move the blend flap
