Dished Steering wheel

Just bought a 1974 TVR 3000M (same vintage as me). I am a quite tall lad 192 cm (6 feet and 3 inches), and would like a dished or semi-dished steering Wheel of some kind. I like the Mountney Wheels. Do you have any other/better suggestions?
And should I by to fit a TR6, or how does it match up?

I'm 6'6" and had the same problem
Here is what I did. Bought a mountney steering wheel, slight dish and also slightly smaller diameter to the original wheel. I also had a 1" spacer made to bring the steering wheel closer and aid on leg room. As a final push Adrian fitted a "long" pedal box to give an extra couple of inch on the pedals.
At 6'3" that would give you all the room you need. Would go wheel first, then add spacer, then pedal box if you still struggle

If it's just for road use I don't think a quick rack is really needed. We've had our 1600M on numerous trackdays and still don't quite feel the need for a quick rack.
Once your moving, you don't use much lock anyway, only in tight corners will you have to move your hands.
I think also that the heaviness of the steering increases at slow/stationary speeds when you fit a quick rack.
I would like to try a quick rack if I could just to see what it's like, but I think first I'll see what the Taimars like with the solid rack mounts.

I plan to hillclimb and also use the car for trackdays. I've had a tailhappy 3000M before and I think that the standard rack is way to slow, when correction of oversteer is needed. I plan to increase the power as well.

Don't wait - I put Adrian's solid mounts on the 3000M - highly recommended - much nicer steering. Well worth doing on your 1600M for all those trackdays!Back on topic - I fitted a slightly bigger wheel in our 3000M. The (non-original) one that was fitted stopped me seeing the speedo. Bought a 2nd hand Mountney off ebay (nicely patinated) that is an inch bigger.
I now know if I'm speeding!

NOTHING (as in NOT one part!) from the NEW Rimmers TR6 quick rack will change into/from the standard TVR rack ...what you need, IF you choose ignore the advice of the people you are giving you (I build the TVR rack/change pinions/shorten bodies/lengthen arms add adapters and have sold quick racks out to people who think that that they can live with a quick rack, WHO then prefer to have the standard ratio AGAIN ...too many time to count!!) is a rebuild of your rack with a quick rack pinion.
