we all know that summer will come next year and that Hondas go on and on, so how come its hard to get anyone interested in buying a convertible in the winter at a bargain price... I'm selling the S2000 to get a Caterham am I the only person who changes car at this time of year ?

Im selling my Caterham and looking for an Elise. Anyone here that can help me?

Sorry, just kidding. Wouldn't surprise me if the power of Pistonheads could sort this though. Try mentioning it in the other forums, perhhaps a swap around could be arranged.

Probably doable with a chain of about 20 cars.

I can picture it right now, we'd have a chain like this: Caterham owner looking for an M5. M5 owner looking for an XK8. Jag owner looking for a Tamora. TVR owner looking for a 348. Ferrari owner looking for an MX5 and Mazda owner looking for an Elise.

All set for a completion date of 15th December and then the Tamoras engine goes pop.

I'm at it as well, selling one convertible in winter to buy another.

I can offer an MX-5 Turbo into the deal - wanting an Elise It's for sale here:

And so the chain forms! We now need someone who is selling a Caterham and someone who wants an MX5. Preferably the same person.

Roll up, roll up!
