if I didn`t have the Taimar to restore I`d be off with a trailer to pick this little number up, surely a bargain for somebody?

Very good luck with it. The spec looks very interesting, and if the work has been done intelligently then you will have a car you can improve and one you can enjoy and be proud of. Please let the forum know how you get on and post some good pics of the mods as they will be of interest to others.

The chassis is good and maybe I did advertise it too cheap....I certainly have paid the price for not getting myself organised enough to get the MOT sorted, but then I knew that. It is a hard one to call as to what the car is worth.....still I got more or less what I thought I might get for it, so I am not unhappy....and life is too short to regret!
Hi Mick,
Yes I did and I sent you some photo`s via e-mail, although it occurred to me they were the same as in the advert...but maybe a little clearer. I will have the car for another week or so can take some more photo`s.
I did have lots of heating issues...nothing serious but a constant niggle, so I ended up fitting an aluminium radiator from a transit (inexpensive, big, and light). With hindsight many of the problems were due to the radiator being old and partially blocked! I fitted the header tank because the swirl pot did not work properly (I cannot remember the details now but I thought the design was wrong?) and I had a spare Sierra header tank which was a straightforward fitment. I made some temporary mounting brackets 7 years ago, but they are still there working fine!
Regards
Mark
