Alfa Romeo 166. Convince me one way or the other.

With a recent change in circumstances (My family and I have moved to Germany), I am looking to get a cheap left hooker local car.

I have always had a hankering for an Alfa and a particular fondness the 166.

I was thinking a 3.0 V6 either Auto or Manual with sub 100k miles.

Anything i should bear in mind? Any owners on here willing to offer an opinion? What model should i look out for?
