I think I'll pick it up eventually, but it looks a little too much like the other two games (no bad thing really) and I'm keen to see what else it brings to the table and how favourable the reviews are.

Looking forward to this, but ..............

a) Enjoying GTA main story/online too much

b) Haven't started Splinter Cell yet

c) Haven't finished SR4 yet

d) Empire state tall pile of shame to get through

So probably going to be picking up in a few months time cheap (or whenever it hits £25 or lower)

Cancelled my order the other day, loved the first one but the second felt a bit flat to me. Gta takes up any gaming time I have, much better playing with mates then solo.

I'm glad others have said that as it seems to get universally great reviews whereas I found it very meh.

I loved Asylum, but City just wound me up. The fights became a chore with far too many different enemy types needing distingtly different counters. So instead of a nice flowing combat, it was trunchated and stutterd.

The rest of the game just didn't flow well at all.

Picked it up in Asda yesterday for £35, can't wait to get some time to try it.

Hmm,

Yep, I had no complaints regards AA or AC, loved them both

Looks more or less identical to Arkham City from what I've played so far?

More of the same really. No bad thing though. Constant 'must fight' goons with just more and more of them as the game progresses gets very tiring very quickly though.

I do remember much more of a feeling of knowing where I was at any point with AC I guess, whereas this seems more like buildings just shoved together for the sake of it.

That's a very fair review indeed. I've got it and I've been working my way through quite happily but it really feels like it lacks depth.

Perfectly decent way to help me while away the nail-biting fortnight until a potentially life-changing decision is made, but if it wasn't for that timing I'd be wishing I'd waited and got it second-hand.

I particularly agree with the reviewer's comments about the puzzles: there has been a LOT less thought put into this and it shows.

Decent game, feels just like an expansion pack to the last game, no new groundbreaking things.

Also deathstroke is perhaps the biggest pita boss ever.

Worth a buy if your a fan of the series, wish I had just rented it tbh.

Yeah. Deathstroke was absolutely f*cking infuriating. I quite like the further development of detective mode, though - for all that it feels a bit like a minigame, doesn't really tie in that well.
