997 headlight removal tool

I can't find my headlight removal tool. There is a space for it in my tool kit, so maybe it was missing when I bought the car 4 years ago.

Does anyone have a spare one? I'm happy to pay! I'd much rather pay someone on here than on ebay.

I had the same problem with my 996. It's just as easy to get a socket spanner. Buy a cheap set of 1/4" drive sockets (£10 from TK Max). Find which socket fits and then glue it on to the drive bar.

Thanks. That works for my 986 boxster but the access holes for the 997 mean that the socket won't fit through the hole. So I really do need the narrow headlight removal tool.

Have you tried an OPC? Some things they sell quite cheaply - it's just a small piece of cast metal after all. Only some
