Help! What the hell is this?

Sorry, I've only got one, bad, photo from the back. It's a bizarre creation..the front end is Mark 2 Jag, complete with bonnet badge, but the whole thing is about the size of an Austin 1800. It is on reg plate DAP 315B, which comes back on TFL web site as 'Red Unknown Model', and DAP-B is not an original issue, so it's a re-registration. It could be a kit car or a homemade job based on a 1964 model; certainly the paint looked modern. It was on the M40 around High Wycombe.

Somehow this passed me by. My taste filters have obviously been working, because IMO this is a truly terrible looking piece of crud.
