...fashion a way that you could see all of a poster's posts in a thread without seeing the rest of it?
I notice a lot that if I want to look at an interesting thread, there is no easy way to see any updates the OP has made without trawling through pages of posts from other posters, many of which are just "red bull/company director/back doors/pics" etc.

So just to pluck an imperfect example:

Say I wanted to just read any updates that Dilbert had made but without all the white noise- is there currently a way of doing it, or is there an easy way to invent a vehicle to do it?

Access the thread via the replies column on the OP's profile and it should highlight his replies in yellow.

Only on the page on which that person first contributed to the thread though.

In subsequent pages, their replies aren't highlighted.

BTW - is it true you're buying PH back from Haymarket?

Cheers,

Yes this I think. It is only the first page that their replies are yellow

Is there any extra string at the end of the URL with shows the highlight? You could copy and paste that into the URL to show the comments you want to see.

Sorry you're right. The parameter used is 'hm=...' but that's not repeated in the page links.

I'll get back to my pie.

Joking aside, I did actually have a pie today. A pork pie from Waitrose. It was a splendid assortment of piggy body parts and spices.

It does continue to work if you edit the page number rather than click the number links.
to explain to perhaps better, the bx that shows the current page, if edited to the next page number will carry over the highlighting
