Steering wheel / pedal / rig combo recommendations?

Hi guys, I've got GT and F1 2013 on PS3 but am after a much more immersive experience. Can anyone offer any tips for best steering wheel, pedal and rigs to get?

Logitech G27's are bloomin brilliant! probably the most widely used steering wheel for gaming.

As for rigs I've experienced a Playseat with g27 combo and felt it to be very sturdy

g27 is best bang for your buck I'd say. only time I've seen youd be able to test one is at a motor racing meet. normally have them at wec in Silverstone or le man not sure about other events.

I've got a G27 with a VisionRacer seat, bloody awesome quite frankly!

I would say that whatever brand/model you get, make sure it has a loadcell brake pedal. Has made a dramatic difference to my sim experience. I currently use Fanatec Clubsport V2 pedals and a Logitech DFPro wheel, which will be replaced by a Fanatec Clubsport in the near future.

If you want truly immersive, you'll be wanting to look into PC based sims and multiple monitors.
