This has started from the begging on CBS Action for those with Sky.

Anyone remember this second rate Miami Vice? Very cheesy but easy to watch after a hard day on PH at work.

Great theme song on the first series I remember, swapped for some other crap after.

When I saw the title I got excited thinking it was Matt Houston - remember him ?

His "assistant" was pretty fit with a deep voice

I've just looked it up, turns out she was his "lawyer"

And not really that fit, in my defence I was 9 at the time.

Vaguely remember it from when it was on first time round. Police station is an old boat isn't it?

Wasn't there also some connection between him and the actress who plays his daughter in real life? Or am I really going mad.

Indeed, also in From Dusk Till Dawn.
I have to say, I was, and still am, a huge fan of both MV and Nash Bridges.
Trend setting, cool, stylish, hugely entertaining, and so easy to watch.
The 80's really were so very good..........

Didn't Hunter S Thompson have something to do with this show? (He of 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' fame)

Made a guest appearance in one episode I believe. As did Philip Michael Thomas.

Oh yes there was, ahem, a connection all right, I also read recently that Don Johnston sued the makers for many millions and won.

I like the show and watched a couple of re-runs, didn't know thay had made over a hundred episodes though. They should re run Miami Vice, that would be good biggrin

It's apparently set 10 years or so after the original series ended - which is a bit of stretch as it's nearer 20 and Don Johnson and Cheech Marin are pushing 70.

Currently, it's a one off TV movie that will lead to a series if it's well enough received.

The 'Cuda was spotted on set but they seemed to be driving a Dodge Demon Hellcat convertible which is probably the spiritual successor.

There is still talk of a Miami Vice reboot, with Don Johnson, but at least he's wise enough to see the inherent problems with such a project.

First aired on CBS way back in March 1996! That is over 25 years ago! Don Johnson is now 71 years of age soon to be 72.

I'm hoping it will be good. I can only guess that Johnson will be involved in the making of the film and he's usually pretty good what ever he's in.

It'll be interesting to see the story behind the car,

The original 'Cuda was a massive part of the original show and already worth a fortune back then..

The current estimates for a genuine Hemi 'Cuda convertible were $6.5 million.

Perhaps it goes to a museum and they get the Demon Hellcat as a runaround?
