Hi,

A work collegue is moving to abroad and looking to sell an MK2.
What do you guys think of price, advert etc? The car was re spreayed last year and the roof replaced last month

He's asking too much,most people are now aware mk2's have rusty chassis rails.It's coming into winter and it's a 14 year old convertible.Not being critical just my opinion.

Agreed. IMO £1500 would be a more realistic price. There are plenty of MK2's about for sale so it's a buyers market. I think your friend will be keeping that one for a while if he won't move on the asking price.
