Rear chassis dimensions

Unfortunately not.
Its to create a lifting beam so that i can lift the back using one jack lifting the car evenly then place axle stands under in one go instead of lifting one side at a time, or using my drive on hydraulic ramps which are great but not much good as they get in the way when using axle stands.
Less stress on the chassis and twisting of the body. Always makes me cringe when hearing the body creeking
Can lift it on the rear chassis at present but its very uneven and the exhaust gets in the way so the lift beam should help and speed lifting the car up.
Thats the plan any way.

Ok no problem, I’ll be home in a couple of hours so will check that for you.
Are you planning on making something that will sit under both rails at the rear then? Just from memory the rails kick up at the rear so if you try to jack under them the car can slide forward, but if you incorporated a stop that located on the cross tube it would be ok I guess.

Thanks for the measurements; saves me getting under!
Last time I jacked the back up (Trolley Jack) I used a 3x2 timber across the chassis with two 3x2x4" long noggins on top to give clearance by the exhaust. At the time I was thinking I should make a steel one up, just laziness on my part as the materials are easy to hand.
Oh, Jacking up poised no problems and the car was stable.
Mine was covered in waxoyl when it slipped, a nice clean chassis & rubber pads would stop any movement also I guess.
There is so little clearance getting anything under there on top of the jack may be a bit of squeeze, but there’s always driving on to blocks of wood first etc.
I’ve got a pit so don’t generally need to jack it up but it makes it a right pain when I do!
