Anyone familiar with consumer credit licence applications?

Hi,

Is anyone familiar with applying for consumer credit licences? Reason being, the garage I currently work at do not have one and are looking to apply for a category C credit brokerage licence. Now, I know that you can not sign agreements off trade premises, but there is an option which is:

Do you want your licence to allow you to canvass off your trade premises for debtor-creditor-supplier agreements or consumer hire agreements?

Would that option allow us to sign agreements off trade premises, as an example, if we were to sell a car from home or at a customers house?

I don't think so. I think it allows you to canvass for such business, or basically advertise that you can offer it.
